The Dunwells are a fictional homeschooling family who live on an acreage by a fictional small town called Alderwick. The Dunwells are based off of my own family, and quite a few of the Dunwell Chronicles will be based off of actual events that have taken place in our family’s history. Not all of the stories will be based off real events, mind you (even my family isn’t that chaotic!), but a good part of them will be.
You may wonder why I am choosing to write stories about the Dunwells. It’s because I love writing, and because I want to write these specific stories, so look out, world! No one’s going to stop me now. Not a very good reason for writing, maybe, but just you wait! I’ll come up with an absolutely wonderful excuse for this chaos sometime in the future. Now, to keep things from getting too confusing, and also because I like to be gracious every now and then, I’ll introduce the members of the Dunwell family in order to keep things straight here.
Introducing the Dunwells:
Daniel Dunwell– Father
Jane Dunwell– Mother
Edward (Eddie) Dunwell– First and Eldest Dunwell Sibling (also the most annoying)
Addie Dunwell (I’ll let you take a wild guess at who this character is based off of)- Second Dunwell Sibling
Melvin Dunwell– Third Dunwell Sibling
Mary Dunwell– Fourth Dunwell Sibling (Melvin’s younger twin)
Zoe Dunwell– Fifth Dunwell Sibling
Rupert Dunwell– Sixth Dunwell Sibling
